ACE Guidance Page

Counselor Sherry Williamson would like to welcome all students, families and community members to the ACE Guidance Page. The mission of the ACE Guidance Department is to enable all students to become successful citizens through a partnership with parents/guardians, faculty, staff, and community members. The ACE School Counseling Office will provide a comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to individually assist students in developing and attaining academic and career goals and to support their personal and social needs. We will ensure that all students have equal access to guidance services pertaining to the academic, career and social/emotional issues they may encounter while encouraging them to become qualified members of the global workforce.

Applying to ACE

In order to attend ACE, students must be enrolled in 11th or 12th one of the public high schools in Beaufort or Jasper County. Students can obtain an application from this site or counselor at their home school and the counselor will then forward the application to ACE if the student can attend ACE. The approval process includes, but is not limited to, attendance, grade level and discipline review. Seniors can apply to enroll in Culinary Arts and Law only as they would not be able to complete other programs.


Student IGP Meetings

Students will have IGP meetings at ACE each semester. The following packet contains the information that will be reviewed during the meeting. Parent participation in IGP meetings is vital and highly encouraged. Appointment letters are mailed well in advance of IGP meetings and we will accommodate appointment changes if needed.
